In life, there often is an element of luck, but it is surprising how much we can influence the amount of good luck we have by doing a few simple things regularly.
Have you ever noticed that when you start thinking about something a lot – like a particular breed of dog, or a type of car, for example – you start to notice them more than you used to?
This is because you have programmed your brain to focus on those things, so it shows you more of them. We can use this knowledge to help us become luckier. Here are some things you can do to boost your luck.
Spend time each day thinking about all the things you want to do well – whether it is school work, sports, crafts and hobbies, making friends or something else.
- Think about them by making powerful pictures in your head of how you want things to be.
- Your brain will then start to notice things in your everyday life that can help you achieve those things.
Add more variety to your daily life – read lots of different things, watch a variety of TV programmes, speak to many kinds of people.
- By surrounding yourself with variety, you will start to notice different things and different opportunities.
- This can help you to achieve more and feel luckier.
Try these things and see how much luckier you can become…!
